Control Interface Unit
The ESI-2020 interface device has embedded software designed to perform various communications functions that may be needed within Utah Scientific router/master control systems. For example, the ESI-2020 can provide RS-422 machine control links to as many as 12 devices, or serve as a bridge between legacy signal processor units and Ethernet LAN. The ESI-2020 also can be used as an application-specific interface to provide customized functions.
